Igor has a background in banking and industry. He worked as a creativity, innovation and change consultant in about 20 countries, mainly in Europe but also in Asia and Africa.

His clients are companies, government, not for profit organisations, and education (e.g. Akzo, Alcatel, Amsterdam Police, BASF, Cities of Rotterdam and Gent, Danone, Helsinki University of Technology, Inbev, Microsoft, Siemens, Sony, Toyota, Umicore, VRT (Flemish Radio and Television), Antwerp Management School, Dutch Ministry of Interior).

In 2003 he wrote the bestseller Creativiteit Hoe?ZO! which became the bestselling standard manual for applied creatitvity in Holland and Belgium. This book was the basis for the new shoes today book Creativity Today, published in 2007. 

 


Igor Byttebier

Today Igor helps to realize paradigm shifts and related breakthrough thinking in different fields of society. This means facilitation of radical change processes in organizations and creating new vision, processes and products for sustainability and transition in communities. 

He introduces complementary currencies as tools for change as well in business as in social environments. Igor participates in 2 pilot projects in the city of Gent (Belgium): a community currency (Torekes.be) and an educational currency. Other projects in B2B and B2C are coming.

On the level of thinking he is formulating answers to the questions - How do we create reality? - How can we create fluently and expand reality towards broader horizons? He is preparing a new book on this topic.
